Katy Hearn Fitness started with my Instagram account over three years ago. I shared my workouts and meals, as well as my own transformation. That led to many girls asking me to help them on their fitness journeys, which evolved into to me getting my personal trainers certification. I began working at my gym as a trainer, helping clients one on one, in addition to training my online clients.

Today all of my training is only offered online. I hold seasonal eight week challenges, have an amazing Build A Booty 4.0 program and may eventually get back to taking individual clients via online as well! I do not currently offer individual client training because of the success and popularity of my seasonal challenges. Thanks for considering me to help you get fit and healthy. I can’t wait to begin working with you!

Katy’s Bio

Hi everyone! Since you’ve made it to my website, you probably already know my name is Katy Hearn. I am currently 23 years old and live in Louisville, Ky. with my fiancé and our two pitbulls.

Throughout high school I was always the “little one.” I weighed less than 100 pounds, I never played sports or worked out. I was already tiny, so I didn’t feel a need to explore the gym. I graduated high school and went to college. With college also came beer, fast food and minimal sleep. 

Fast forward a couple years and it’s my 21st birthday. I picked out this super tight, hot pink dress to wear for my birthday celebrations, went out and had an amazing time. A few days later while looking through the photos from that night, my stomach sank. It hit me like a ton of bricks, I had gained weight. Not just a pound or two – I had gained about 18 pounds. I was mortified and so upset I had let myself fall into such unhealthy habits. 

In September 2012 I got a gym membership and started researching different exercises to target different muscle groups, put together a full training program for myself and got to work. After three months of consistency with my training, nutrition and cardio, I was able to lose all of the excess fat I had gained. I remember making my first progress photo comparison, my eyes filled with tears when I realized, I did it. I worked hard, made sacrifices and it all paid off.

Over the past three years, I have shared my fitness journey with Instagram and Twitter. I am so thankful and blessed beyond measure to be able to reach out and help women all over the world. Through fitness I have gained physical and mental strength, confidence in myself, and an understanding of how important it is to fuel your body so it can perform its best. My passion is sharing that knowledge with any and every woman who wants to get healthier, get stronger and become confident in her own skin!
